As you turn these pages, think, did you see a bright yellow daffodil today? Have you seen a lamb in the fields, croci (typing “crocuses” is just fraught with problems!) or buds on the trees?
I fear that educationalists, environmentalists, trades unionists, politicians and (dare I say it!?) some journalists just don’t get it; they think it grows on trees! Dark when you get up; dark when you leave work; wet; cold; the joy of Christmas but a distant memory…..oh! Except the bill for the credit card that paid for it all that now needs sorting.
